"Most academic tools tell you what to do. Stemara tells you what to do next — based on your actual syllabus, your textbook, and the week you're in."
— Starting With Structure
What We Build
Your syllabus is the starting point. We turn it into a system.
Stemara sits on top of your existing course materials and transforms them into a structured, day-by-day study system — personalized to your semester timeline.
Step 1
Upload Your Syllabus
Drop in a PDF, image, or paste text. Stemara parses your course name, exam dates, assignment schedule, weekly topics, and grading weights automatically.
Step 2
Add Your Textbook
Enter a textbook ISBN or title. We pull the chapter structure and concept outline, then align it with your syllabus timeline week by week.
Step 3
Get Your Study Plan
Stemara generates a full semester roadmap, weekly plan, and daily tasks — with quizzes, flashcards, and concept breakdowns built in. Your entire semester, structured.
Who It's For
Built for students who need a system, not more advice.
Community College Students
Freshmen starting strong
The first semester sets the trajectory. Stemara helps you start with clarity — before you fall behind, not after.

Sophomores building momentum
You know what went wrong freshman year. Stemara gives you the structure you wish you had — starting from day one of every new semester.

You don't have time to figure out what to study. Stemara tells you what to do with your next 30 minutes — and quietly replans when life gets in the way.

How It Works
The alignment engine builds your plan from the ground up.
Stemara connects three things that have always lived in separate places: your syllabus timeline, your textbook's concepts, and your assignment pacing. We bring them together into one coherent system.
1
Syllabus parsing
We extract course schedule, exam dates, assignment due dates, weekly topics, and grading weights from your uploaded syllabus.
2
Textbook alignment
We map textbook chapters and concepts to your syllabus weeks, so you always know which pages to read and when they matter most.
3
Personalized plan generation
A full semester roadmap, weekly schedule, and daily task list — built around your actual course, not a generic template.
4
Study tools built in
AI-generated summaries, flashcards, practice quizzes, key terms, and concept breakdowns — for every topic in your plan.
5
Track, adjust, stay on track
Your dashboard shows this week, overdue tasks, upcoming exams, and your semester progress. Fall behind? Stemara quietly replans — no shame, just forward motion.

Stemara started with a simple observation: most students don't fail because they're not smart. They fall behind because they never had a system.
Founder Story
Why Stemara exists.
Community college students are handed a syllabus on day one and expected to figure out the rest. There's no system. No roadmap. Just a list of due dates and the hope that it all makes sense by the time finals arrive.
Stemara v1 was built under Edura LLC — a first attempt at solving this. I shipped it, tested it with real students, gathered feedback, and learned. Version 2 is the rebuild with a sharper thesis and a clearer focus: the syllabus is the starting point, and everything else should flow from it.
I'm building Stemara because the student who works 25 hours a week, takes 4 classes, and still wants to succeed deserves a tool that was actually built for them.

Our Story

Edura LLC — V1 built and tested
First version shipped, real student feedback gathered, core thesis validated

Mission
Our core thesis
Stemara turns any syllabus into a study system — so the students most likely to fall through the cracks don’t.
The students who struggle most in college aren’t less capable — they’re less surrounded. Students with access to mentors, family who’ve been through it, and a support system have an invisible advantage. They know how to read a syllabus, pace a semester, and ask the right questions before things fall apart.
Stemara exists to close that gap. It’s the structure, the guidance, and the environment that not everyone gets to grow up around — built into a tool that meets you where you are, from day one.
Start with structure. Move forward from there.
Why Community College
The students who are most overlooked are the ones who need structure most.
Nearly 40% of community college students do not return for their second year. Not because they don't want to succeed — but because no one gave them a system for how to survive the first one.
Most edtech tools are built for 4-year universities, traditional students with 20-hour school weeks, and students who can afford to invest time in learning a new tool. Community college students are often working, commuting, first-generation, and managing life while managing a full course load.
Stemara is designed for a student who gets home at 9pm after a shift, has 45 minutes to study, and needs to know exactly what to do — without having to figure it out.
First-generation students welcome.
We build for students who may not have a parent who went to college and can explain how to navigate it. Stemara gives you the operating system that was never handed to you.
The Team
I'm a solo founder building something real.
Team section being built
As Stemara grows, this section will feature the full team and their roles. Right now, it's just me — and that's enough to start.

Question 1 of 616%
Tell us a little about yourself.
We'll use this to understand the kind of student Stemara is for.
What's the hardest part of managing school?
Select everything that applies to you. Be honest — this is research, not a quiz.
What do you currently use to stay organized?
Tell us what you already try — even if it doesn't work well.
If you could describe being behind in school in one sentence, what would you say?
Write exactly what comes to mind. We read every response — these shape the product directly.
How useful would a tool like Stemara be for you?
Be honest. A tool that turns your syllabus into a personalized study plan — semester roadmap, weekly schedule, daily tasks, quizzes, review tools.
Not useful at allExtremely useful
Last step — can we follow up with you?
We'd love to share what we find and possibly invite you to a short interview. This is completely optional.
Thank you. This matters.
Every response we get shapes Stemara directly. We'll reach out if you said you're open to a follow-up interview — and we'll share our research findings with everyone who participated.
I'm not building features based on what I think students need. I'm asking — then building. Every survey response goes directly into product decisions. Findings will be shared publicly when the research is complete.

About the Product
Stemara is a syllabus-aware academic planning system. You upload your syllabus and enter your textbook, and we generate a full semester study plan — roadmap, weekly schedule, daily tasks, quizzes, and review materials — all built around your actual course, not a generic template.
No. Stemara sits on top of your existing materials — your textbook, your syllabus, your assignments. We organize and structure them so you know what to study and when, but we don't replace the actual learning that comes from your course content.
We target 70%+ accuracy on real community college syllabi, which vary a lot in format. Our parsing handles the most common formats well. For anything it can't parse cleanly, you'll be able to review and edit the extracted information before your plan is generated.
We're starting with the most common community college subjects — Biology, English, Math, Sociology, Psychology, History. We'll expand coverage based on what students actually use. If your subject isn't well-supported at launch, we want to know.
Yes — this is one of our core design principles. Life happens. One-tap replan adjusts your schedule forward, compresses what's still possible, and gets you back on track without surfacing a wall of shame. We will never punish you for coming back.
Access & Pricing
We're still deciding the final pricing model. Our direction is a free tier with core features and a paid tier (~$8–12/month or ~$59/year) for full access to study tools, quizzes, and advanced planning. We'll communicate pricing clearly before launch.
We're targeting a pilot launch at local community colleges for fall 2026. Waitlist members will be first to get access. Join the waitlist to be notified as soon as it's ready.
We're focused on individual student access right now. Institutional partnerships are on our roadmap but not something we're pursuing until the product is proven. If you're an advisor or administrator who wants to learn more, email trinity@stemara.app.
Privacy & Data
Yes. Your syllabus, textbook data, and study plan belong to you. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with your school. We treat your academic information as private by default. Our Privacy Policy has the full details.
We're building Stemara with FERPA compliance in mind from the ground up. Since students upload their own materials (not data from school systems), many FERPA considerations are handled by the student-controlled nature of the product. We'll publish our compliance documentation before launch.

4. If you could change one thing about how you manage school, what would it be?
